Product Description

Heavy duty Embossing Machine 04

The single-sided heavy-duty embossing machine is a high-tonnage equipment specifically designed to imprint concave-convex textures only on one surface of plates, coils, or profiles.

Only the upper roll (or lower roll) is equipped with an engraved pattern roll, while the opposite side uses a smooth support roll to avoid simultaneous pressure on both surfaces. This makes it suitable for applications requiring only single-sided decorative or functional textures. It can process rigid or thick materials with a thickness of 2–50 mm, such as solid wood, WPC, MDF, and metal plates.

The pattern on the engraved roll is transferred to the workpiece surface in a single pass under high pressure + high temperature (heated by electricity or thermal oil). Servo or frequency conversion control ensures a continuously adjustable speed of 1–5 m/min, with precise control over an embossing depth ranging from 0.1–1.5 mm.

Working Principle of Heavy-duty Embossing Machine

The panel first passes through the heated embossing roller, which softens the surface. It then moves into the nip between the pattern roller and the pressure roller. Under heat and pressure, the engraved texture is transferred onto the panel. By adjusting the nip gap or hydraulic pressure, the operator can vary embossing depth between 0.1 and 1.5 mm steplessly. The variable frequency drive allows speed adjustment from 1 to 5 m/min, ensuring optimal results for different wood types and pattern details. The high temperature also produces a slight carbonisation effect, which helps mask natural defects like knots and black lines on solid wood.

Features of Single Sided Heavy-duty Embossing Machine

  • Wide working range – Maximum embossing width reaches 1,220 mm, and processing thickness spans from 2 to 50 mm, accommodating most standard panels.

  • Adjustable embossing depth – From 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm, steplessly adjustable, giving you precise control over texture intensity.

  • Heating system – Electric rollers with 19.8 kW power, reaching up to 230 °C. A digital display allows accurate temperature setting to soften the wood surface (typically between 80–150 °C for clarity).

  • Variable embossing speed – Driven by a two‑stage reducer with a 4 kW motor, speed is frequency‑controlled from 1 to 5 m/min, offering flexibility for different materials and pattern complexities.

  • Pattern roller – Ø 400 × 1,300 mm with an electroplated surface for durability and consistent pattern transfer.

  • Robust construction – Overall dimensions: 3,600 × 1,200 × 1,500 mm; machine weight: 3,100 kg.

Applications of Single Sided Heavy-duty Embossing Machine

Engineered for thick and wide panels, the single-side heavy-duty embossing press imposes deep, precise patterns—wood grain, relief or anti-slip—onto one surface only, under high tonnage and accurate temperature control. It is widely employed in flooring, furniture doors, decorative wallboards and metal curtain walls, enhancing both tactile aesthetics and brand identity while serving as the backbone for high-volume premium panel production.
