- Application: Balsa wood scrim applicator is a kind of equipment specially used for balsa wood processing, mainly used for pasting mesh on the surface of balsa wood board.
Product Description
A balsa wood scrim applicator is an industrial machine designed for processing balsa wood (lightwood) core materials. Its primary function is to bond fiberglass mesh firmly onto one or both sides of balsa wood sheets or end-grain panels. The machine electrically heats to approximately 80°C, softening the back side of the fiberglass mesh to achieve a strong adhesion with the balsa wood. This process transforms rigid balsa blocks into bendable, rollable flexible end-grain balsa core panels, which are essential for automated production of composite sandwich cores.
