Curtain Painting UV Coating Machine for MDF/floor /furniture/cabinet
- Working width:650MM
- Working height:2-80MM
- Min working length: 200MM
- Paint type: UV/PE/PU
- Paint dosage: 40-300g/㎡
- Application : The Automatic Curtain Coating Machine is a precision coating system designed for applying a seamless, waterfall-like film of paint or finish onto flat substrates. Its core technology relies on pumping material to a precision die head to form a stable liquid curtain, ensuring exceptional uniformity and a superior visual finish compared to conventional spray methods.
Product Description

An automatic curtain coating machine is built for applying a smooth, even layer of paint onto flat workpieces. It works reliably with UV paints, PE/PU paints, and water-based paints. The principle is simple: paint is pumped from a tank up to the machine head, where it flows down like a continuous waterfall, forming a liquid curtain. Workpieces – such as panels or boards – travel underneath on a conveyor belt, picking up a uniform coating as they pass through the curtain.

Product Features
Perfect Mirror High-Gloss Finish: Guarantees a flawless, high-clarity surface with zero orange peel texture, eliminating the need for extensive post-polishing.
Dual-Head Design for Versatility: Enables wet-on-wet application for a thicker, fuller finish or allows one head to act as a standby for rapid production color changes, minimizing downtime.
Gravity Curtain Flow Technology: Provides a consistent, bubble-free coating application without reliance on air pressure, resulting in exceptional smoothness and material consistency.
Integrated Paint Recycling System: Features a closed-loop recycling trough that ensures nearly 100% material utilization, dramatically reducing waste and operational costs.
Precision Thickness Control: Equipped with an imported precision blade adjustment system for accurate and repeatable control over coating thickness.

Working Principle of Automatic Curtain Coating Machine
In operation, UV paint (or other suitable paint) is pumped from the storage tank to the curtain coating head, where it falls to form a stable, uniform curtain. As boards pass quickly through this curtain on the conveyor, a controlled layer of paint adheres to their surface. Excess paint falls back into the tank, where it is heated, filtered, and de‑foamed before being recirculated. This cycle ensures a consistent, high‑quality finish every time.
Advantages of Automatic Curtain Coating Machine
Unmatched Surface Quality: Directly achieves a premium mirror gloss finish, enhancing product value and aesthetic consistency while streamlining the production process.
Superior Cost Efficiency: The highly efficient paint recycling system significantly lowers material consumption and reduces waste disposal costs.
Robust and Easy Maintenance: The conveyor utilizes high-quality, solvent-resistant polyester belting that is easy to clean. The drive system employs DC motor frequency conversion control for smooth, stepless speed adjustment from 5 to 60 meters per minute.
Broad Operational Flexibility: Capable of handling panels from 200mm in length, with a working width of 650mm and accommodating material thicknesses from 2mm to 80mm.
Reliable Performance: Designed for continuous industrial operation with a balanced power configuration (Conveyor: 2.2KW, Heater: 3KW, Oil Pump: 0.75KW), ensuring stable and durable performance.
