Product Description
Balsa Wood Four‑Roll PET Sealing Machine is specifically designed for sealing the open‑cell / honeycomb‑like microstructure of balsa wood and for surface treatment of PET foam core materials. In wind turbine blade manufacturing, untreated balsa wood absorbs excessive resin during vacuum infusion, significantly increasing blade weight.
This sealing machine applies a dedicated sealant (or composite layer) to both surfaces of the core material, creating a dense barrier that effectively blocks resin penetration. Advanced PET sealing technology can reduce resin uptake by more than 80% , lowering both material cost and final component weight.
