Product Description

Two Head Wide Beit Sander

Wood Wide belt sanding machine is a board processing equipment designed and manufactured for the board and furniture industry. It can be widely used in the thickness determination and surface polishing of various artificial boards, veneers and solid wood boards, and can also be used for sanding of wood floors, door panels and board furniture materials.

The characteristics of the sanding machine are strong adaptability, can process various workpieces, and the machine itself has high processing accuracy, whether it is a high or low workpiece or a wide or narrow workpiece, it can be perfectly processed.

Sanding can not only greatly reduce the wood tearing, knot tearing and surface damage caused by the planer, but also reduce the blank size by 5%-10%. Moreover, the sanding machine overcomes the shortcomings of the planer such as insecurity and high noise. Therefore, the sanding machine has become one of the main machine tools for wood processing.

The uses of the wide belt sanding machine are mainly as follows:

1. Sanding to improve the thickness accuracy of the workpiece. For example: the veneer substrate needs to be sanded to a certain thickness before veneer.

2. Surface sanding refers to improving the surface quality by evenly sanding off a layer of sand on the board surface to eliminate the knife marks left by the previous process, making the board surface beautiful and smooth. It is also used for veneer, dyeing, printing, and painting.

3. Sanding refers to the rough sanding process on the back of the decorative board to ensure the bonding strength between the decorative board (veneer) and the substrate.

Working principle of Wood Wide Belt Sanding Machine

When the machine is started and operates normally according to the normal procedure, the slab to be ground is first fed to the upper and lower coarse sand rollers from the right end of the machine through the plate limit device and the conveying roller. The high-speed rotating sand belt grinds the upper and lower surfaces of the slab at the same time to achieve fixed thickness grinding, and finally removes the remaining surface dust through the discharge end and sends it out of the machine. Each sand roller and cleaning roller has a powerful dust suction device, and the grinding dust is sucked away by the dust suction port. The slab after grinding finally obtains a finished product with a flat and smooth surface and thickness that meets the requirements.

The sanding machine is mainly composed of five parts: frame, sand frame, feed mechanism, dust suction device and electronic control system. Its sand frame components are mainly composed of contact rollers, tensioning rollers, guide rollers, press grinders, tensioning cylinders, sand belt movement devices, beams, sand belts and bearing seats, which are the core components of the sanding machine to achieve the main cutting motion.

FAQ

A: It performs thickness sanding, surface polishing, and backer sanding on artificial boards, veneers, solid wood, flooring, door panels, and furniture components. Our ZZCHRYSO machine replaces traditional planers, reducing wood tearing and knot damage while saving 5–10% in blank size. It’s quieter and safer than planers.

A: Three main uses: thickness sanding (improve dimensional accuracy, e.g., veneer substrate prep), surface sanding (remove knife marks for painting, veneering, or printing), and backer sanding (rough sand the back of decorative boards to improve bonding strength).

A: Three models: CRS‑MSG630R‑RP(A) (working width 40–630 mm), CRS‑MSG1000R‑RP(A) (40–1000 mm), and CRS‑MSG1300R‑RP(A) (40–1300 mm). Thickness: 2–100 mm; min. length: 420–510 mm; feed speed: 5–25 m/min; total motor power: 20 kW (630), 27.87 kW (1000), 56.55 kW (1300). Dust extraction: 8200 m³/h with two ports (∮150mm or ∮200mm).

A: The machine uses opposite‑type photoelectric switches, Delta PLC with touchscreen, and NSK/SNF bearings. The sanding structure combines two rolls and one pad – front steel roll for adjustable coarse sanding, rear combination for polishing. Conveyor speed is adjustable via reducer motor, and the intelligent temperature controller ensures smooth operation.

A: Yes. The machine adapts to various workpiece sizes (width up to 1300 mm, thickness 2–100 mm, min. length down to 270 mm). The independent bearing hanging plate and heavy‑duty configuration ensure stable sanding even on narrow or short panels.

A: Delta PLC with touchscreen, fault diagnostics, multiple safety protections, and a dust collection system with 8200 m³/h capacity. The machine has emergency stops and anti‑rebound devices. The opposite‑type photoelectric switch detects panel entry for precise cycle control.

A: Daily: clean dust from belts and ports, check air pressure (≥0.6 MPa). Weekly: inspect belt wear, clean sensors, lubricate bearings. Monthly: calibrate sanding thickness, check roller dynamic balance, test emergency stops. The independent bearing hanging plate simplifies bearing maintenance.

A: Solid wood boards, solid wood flooring, solid wood panels, bamboo boards, veneers, thin boards, and also synthetic materials like wood‑plastic composites (WPC). It’s ideal for surface brushing, drawing, natural wood grain brushing, and removing wood wool.

A: Yes. It is often used in sanding lines for precise measurement and fine polishing of unpainted workpieces. The feed speed (5–25 m/min) and belt combinations can be matched with upstream planers, coaters, or downstream assembly lines.

A: Absolutely. The heavy‑duty configuration, high motor power (up to 56.55 kW), and continuous feed capability make it suitable for 24/7 operation in furniture factories, flooring mills, and door manufacturing plants.
