Product Description

This reciprocating spraying machine is built specifically for high‑volume finishing of wide, flat workpieces – including door frame panels, cabinet doors, wardrobe components, and other board‑type parts. It combines a rugged steel frame with PLC‑based logic and a photoelectric detection system to automate the entire spraying process – from workpiece identification to gun triggering and paint recovery.
How It Works
The spray gun carriage moves back and forth along a track perpendicular to the workpiece conveyor. As panels travel steadily through the machine on a belt or roller system, the guns apply a uniform mist of coating over the entire surface. The reciprocating stroke, gun distance, and paint flow are all precisely controlled, ensuring every part receives the same film thickness – whether you are running solid wood, MDF, plywood, or composite boards.

Product Features
Intelligent one‑button start
The control system handles the entire sequence with a single press. Once the workpiece parameters are stored, the machine automatically adjusts stroke length, gun position, and conveyor speed without manual intervention.
Wide‑panel adaptive recognition (2+2 independent drive)
The reciprocating motion is driven by two independent drive units on each side, allowing the system to detect and adapt to different workpiece widths in real time. This ensures the guns only spray where there is material, reducing waste on empty conveyor sections – particularly valuable when processing mixed panel sizes in the same batch.
Light curtain edge detection
A light curtain sensor continuously measures the gap between the gun tip and the workpiece edge. Using multiple sensing points across the conveyor width, the system precisely switches guns on and off based on the product‘s actual length and width. This eliminates overspray beyond the panel edges and cuts paint consumption significantly – especially important for wide panels where edge waste can be substantial.
UV paint recovery system
For UV coatings, the machine is equipped with a dedicated recovery unit that collects overspray and returns it directly to the supply line. The recovered paint is filtered and reused immediately, boosting overall paint utilisation and reducing material costs.
Robust construction and easy maintenance
The frame is welded from heavy‑gauge steel, and all moving parts are protected against paint mist. Access panels are provided for quick cleaning and nozzle replacement, minimising downtime between colour changes or maintenance shifts.
Primary Applications
This machine is widely used in:
Door frame panel production – flat components of wooden doors and door casings
Cabinet door finishing – kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobe cabinet panels
Panel furniture manufacturing – tabletops, shelving, and decorative flat boards
Decorative wall panels – interior wall cladding and laminated boards
Supported coating types include:
UV coatings (with integrated recovery capability)
Water‑based paints
PU, NC, and PE lacquers
Solvent‑borne and water‑borne formulations
The gun calibre can be changed (0.8 / 1.0 / 1.3 mm) to suit different paint viscosities and film thickness requirements.
