 Tubular Chipboard Making Machine is a hot pressing molding equipment specially used for producing hollow particleboard. Its core function is to press wood chips and adhesives into lightweight boards with hollow (cavity) structure under high temperature and high pressure. Compared with traditional solid particleboard, hollow particleboard has better lightweight, sound insulation, material saving and other properties, and is widely used in furniture door core, indoor lightweight partition wall, office furniture and other fields.

The Raw Materials For Tubular Chipboard Making Machine

1. Wood fiber materials

The main sources include low-quality fast-growing wood such as wood processing residues (such as scraps, sawdust), small-diameter wood, thinning wood, etc. Pine, birch, willow, fir, etc. These woods have good planing performance and gluing properties.

2. Bamboo and other plant fibers

Non-wood raw materials such as bamboo chips and bamboo fibers can also be used to produce bamboo-wood mixed hollow particleboards, which are especially suitable for environmental protection or lightweight demand scenarios.

3. Plant stems such as crop straw (such as rice husks and wheat straw) can also be used as supplementary raw materials.

Tubular Chipboard is also called “hollow tubular particleboard” or “bridge mechanical board“, which is a type of extruded particleboard. Its interior is composed of multiple hollow tubular structures, similar to the mechanical design of honeycomb or arch bridge holes, and is made by gluing directional wood fragments under high temperature and high pressure.

Lightweight and high strength: 30%-50% lighter than ordinary solid particleboard, with good load-bearing performance;

Main Applications of Tubular Chipboard

Wooden door industry: Due to the characteristics of light weight and heat insulation, Tubular chipboard is currently mainly used for wooden door core board.

Building wall: Tubular chipboard has good heat insulation and sound insulation performance. Compared with ordinary reinforced concrete wall and porous brick wall and other wall materials, it is recyclable, recyclable and degradable.

Furniture side panels and table top core: Tubular chipboard has good dimensional stability and impact resistance. Although its longitudinal static bending strength value is low, it can be compensated by using veneer materials. It is used as some furniture side panels and table top core materials with low load-bearing requirements to reduce the weight of the furniture.
