Product Description

Upper Floating wide belt Sander 201

Wood Wide belt sanding machine is a board processing equipment designed and manufactured for the board and furniture industry. It can be widely used in the thickness determination and surface polishing of various artificial boards, veneers and solid wood boards, and can also be used for sanding of wood floors, door panels and board furniture materials.

The floating wide belt sanding machine uses the principle of floating up and down to sand the surface of the board to a certain thickness, and then passes through the conveyor table to the bottom sanding machine to sand the bottom of the board to a certain thickness. This connection can complete the sanding requirements of two surfaces at one time, which can not only reduce labor but also improve production efficiency. It is suitable for fine sanding of various furniture, wooden doors, cabinets, board veneer and paint surfaces.

The lower end of the frame of the floating wide belt sanding machine is equipped with lifting legs, which can be driven by the motor to drive the entire frame up and down. This is different from the traditional wide belt sanding machine, which adjusts the sanding height by moving the conveyor up and down. The floating design is more flexible and convenient.

The uses of the wide belt sanding machine are mainly as follows:

1. Sanding to improve the thickness accuracy of the workpiece. For example: the veneer substrate needs to be sanded to a certain thickness before veneer.

2. Surface sanding refers to improving the surface quality by evenly sanding off a layer of sand on the board surface to eliminate the knife marks left by the previous process, making the board surface beautiful and smooth. It is also used for veneer, dyeing, printing, and painting.

3. Sanding refers to the rough sanding process on the back of the decorative board to ensure the bonding strength between the decorative board (veneer) and the substrate.

Features of Floating Wide Belt Sanding Machine

1. Suitable for fine sanding of various furniture, wooden doors, cabinets, and board veneer surfaces. It can be used in combination with any bottom sanding equipment.

2. The unique design of the overall “floating” makes the center of gravity of the floating part stable and the stability is excellent. It is a unique design in China.

3. The equipment frame is welded from thick-walled rectangular steel pipes. After aging treatment, it is strong and stable and not easy to deform, reducing the vibration of the body when sanding the board and ensuring the sanding accuracy.

4. The precision worm gear reducer lifting structure is adopted. The structure can achieve a lifting accuracy of 0.05mm through encoder control.

5. The rollers are tested by a dynamic balancing tester, and the correction accuracy can be controlled within the range of 1g-3g, which is 20% higher than the national standard, improving the sanding accuracy and avoiding the generation of ripples.

6. The pressure roller device adopts a unique coarse and fine three-roller transmission structure, which effectively controls the flatness and dimensional accuracy of the board during sanding.

7. The surface of the conveyor bed is mirror-finished with high flatness. After high-temperature aging, the material is stable and will not deform, and the precision stability is extremely strong.

Application Of Wood Wide Belt Sanding Machine

The floatingWide Belt Sanding Machine is characterized by stable operation and fine surface, and is mainly used for customers with high requirements for surface processing. It is suitable for surface sanding of furniture, doors, windows, etc. and surface finishing of mid-range solid wood boards (such as beech, basswood, oak, etc.), high-end solid wood boards (such as mahogany, nanmu, teak, pine, oak, etc.), integrated bamboo veneer, veneer, integrated wood, plywood, wooden ladder board, solid wood wall board, fireproof board, calcium silicate board and other boards.

FAQ

A: It performs fine sanding on various furniture, wooden doors, cabinets, board veneer, and painted surfaces. Our ZZCHRYSO machine features a unique “floating” design where the entire upper frame moves up and down (instead of the conveyor). This allows flexible thickness control and excellent stability, making it ideal for high‑quality surface finishing on solid wood, veneers, and engineered panels.

A: Unlike traditional sanders where the conveyor bed moves to adjust sanding height, our machine has lifting legs driven by a motor to raise or lower the entire upper frame (the “floating” part). The board passes under multiple sanding heads (two or three). The floating frame maintains stable contact pressure, ensuring uniform sanding. It can be used inline with a bottom sander to sand both sides of a panel in one pass.

A: Three models: CRS‑MSG630 R‑R‑RP(U) (working width 30–630 mm), CRS‑MSG1000 R‑R‑RP(U) (30–1000 mm), and CRS‑MSG1300 R‑R‑RP(U) (30–1300 mm). Thickness range: 2–100 mm; min. working length: 420–510 mm; feed speed: 5–25 m/min; total motor power: 36.87 kW (630), 44.37 kW (1000), 95.05 kW (1300). Dust extraction: 8200 m³/h with three ports (∮150mm or ∮200mm).

A: The overall “floating” structure shifts the center of gravity downward, providing excellent stability – a unique design. The frame is welded from thick‑wall rectangular steel pipes and aged to prevent deformation, reducing vibration and ensuring sanding accuracy. Lifting accuracy reaches 0.05 mm via encoder‑controlled worm gear reducer.

A: Very accurate. Rollers are dynamically balanced to 1–3g, 20% above national standard, preventing ripples. The conveyor bed is mirror‑finished and high‑temperature aged for flatness and dimensional stability. The coarse/fine three‑roller pressure device controls board flatness and thickness precisely.

A: Yes. It performs three main sanding types: thickness sanding (improve dimensional accuracy, e.g., veneer substrate prep), surface sanding (remove knife marks, prepare for painting or veneering), and backer sanding (roughen back side for better bonding). It excels in fine sanding where surface quality is critical.

A: Absolutely. It can be combined with any bottom sander to sand both sides of a panel in one pass, reducing labor and increasing efficiency. The feed speed (5–25 m/min) matches typical finishing lines. The machine includes Delta PLC with touchscreen for easy parameter adjustment.

A: High‑end furniture manufacturing (beech, basswood, oak, mahogany, nanmu, teak, pine), door and window production, cabinetry, veneer processing, engineered wood flooring, bamboo veneer, plywood, solid wood wall panels, fireproof boards, and calcium silicate boards. Anywhere that needs a flawless, smooth surface on flat panels.

A: Daily: clean dust from belts and ports, check air pressure (≥0.6 MPa). Weekly: inspect sanding belt wear, clean sensors, check lifting mechanism lubrication. Monthly: calibrate lifting accuracy, inspect roller bearings, test emergency stops. The underneath‑type main motor and one‑piece pulley cylinders simplify service.

A: Delta PLC with touchscreen, fault diagnostics, multiple safety protections, and a fully enclosed dust collection system. The floating design also improves operator safety by keeping heavy lifting mechanisms enclosed. Emergency stops and anti‑rebound devices are standard.
