The ring die pellet machine consists of five main parts: the feeder, conditioner, pelletizing chamber, regulating mechanism, and lubrication system.

The feeder is composed of a variable frequency speed-regulating motor, transmission device, reducer, auger shaft, and auger housing. Its function is to provide the conditioner with the appropriate feeding amount.

The conditioner is comprised of a motor, main shaft, conditioning rotor, housing, and steam inlet, among other components. Its main function is to introduce steam and condition a certain quantity of the mixed material to a specific temperature and humidity, improving the pelletizing characteristics of the material before it is fed into the pelletizing chamber.

The pelletizing chamber is primarily composed of the main motor, transmission mechanism, rotor, ring die, roller, scraper, cutter assembly, and body. The conditioned material is evenly fed into the area between the ring die and two rollers through the deflecting scraper on the front plate and the rotating feeding cone. As the ring die and rollers rotate relative to each other, the material is gradually squeezed into the holes of the ring die and continuously extruded into formed pellets in a strip shape. Finally, the cutter cuts the pellets into the desired length.

A complete wood pellet production line includes crushing, drying, pelletizing, and packaging units. 

1. Crushing: Wood blocks, wood chips, or other wood materials are uniformly crushed. This can be done using a wood crusher or shredder to reduce the size of the wood into smaller pieces.
2. Drying: The crushed wood material is then fed into a drying machine drum through a conveyor belt. The drying process quickly reduces the moisture content of the material to around 12% to 15%. This is important for ensuring the quality of the final wood pellets.
3. Pelletizing: Once the wood material is dried, it is then fed into a pellet mill. The pellet mill compresses the material under high pressure and heat, forming it into small cylindrical pellets. The pellets are then extruded from the pellet mill.
