Rice Husk Pellet Machine 05

Rice husk is the main byproduct of rice milling. Most of the rice husk is either burned or dumped in open fields as waste, and a small part is used as boiler fuel, etc. In this case, rice husk must not be burned, and it will cause air pollution. So, how to use rice husk effectively? Crushing rice husk into biomass pellets can maximize the value of rice husk.

With the continuous advancement of renewable energy and resource utilization of agricultural and forestry waste, rice husk pellet machine has become an important equipment that more and more farmers, pellet plants and new energy companies pay attention to. It can convert a large amount of idle rice husk into high-density, biomass pellet fuel, realizing “turning waste into treasure”.

What Is A Rice Husk Pellet Machine?

Rice husk pellet machine is a mechanical equipment specially used to press rice husk into biomass fuel pellets. Through high temperature, high pressure, mechanical extrusion and other processes, the originally loose and difficult-to-burn rice husk is processed into pellets with a certain shape, density and calorific value.

The biomass rice husk pellet machine uses rice husk, sawdust, bamboo chips and other biomass raw materials as raw materials to produce biomass fuel pellets. The biomass rice husk pellet machine can press rice husk, bamboo chips, sawdust and other raw materials into pellet fuel at one time, with the advantages of one-time molding, full pelleting and high efficiency.

Rice husk, also known as rice husk or rice bran, has a low volume density after milling. Rice husk pellets are round, granular, high density, customizable size, and stable calorific value. As an energy source to replace conventional non-renewable fossil fuels, rice husk pellets have attracted wide attention around the world.

Why should rice husk be made into pellets?

1. Improve combustion efficiency
The original rice husk has a large volume, low density and is not easy to burn; pellet fuel has a high density, is easy to ignite and burns more fully.

2. Easy to store and transport
The pellets are small in size and uniform in shape, which greatly reduces logistics costs.

3. Environmental protection and energy saving
Replace traditional energy sources such as coal and firewood to reduce carbon emissions.

4. Increase income
Farmers can sell rice husks or process them into pellets for sale to increase added value.

5. Multi-scenario application
Applicable to biomass boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, power plants, etc.

How to make rice husk pellets?

1. Crushing.

Crush the rice husk into powder with a hammer mill. Note: Rice husk has a low moisture content and is easier to press into pellets. Normally, a dryer is not required for rice husk pellet production.

2. Granulation.

Since the rice husk material is light and soft, a ring die rice husk pellet machine with a forced feeder is recommended for large pellet production. However, for small-scale production or homemade, a flat die rice husk pellet machine is the most economical equipment with high production efficiency to meet your needs.

3. Cooling.

The pellets are hot and soft when they come out of the mill. The cooler is used to reduce the temperature and harden the pellets. In small-scale production, you can spread the pellets and let them cool and dry naturally.

4. Packaging.

The final process is packaging and pellet storage, and you can store the pellets in silos or put them into bags.

Why are rice husk pellets favored by the market?

1. Low cost and high return
Bagasse, as agricultural waste, has low raw material cost, small investment in processing equipment, simple operation, and ordinary people can operate it after simple training, with low labor cost. After large-scale production, the return on investment is high, especially in the context of energy shortage, the market demand is stable.

2. Renewable resources
Sugarcane has a short growth cycle (12-18 months) and can be planted in cycles every year to ensure the continuous supply of raw materials, which is more sustainable than fossil fuels.

3. Reduce pollution and waste
The carbon dioxide absorbed by sugarcane during its growth is basically balanced with the amount released by its combustion. It is a carbon-neutral energy source, and no harmful gases such as sulfides and nitrogen oxides are produced during combustion, with significant environmental benefits.

The production of sugarcane bagasse pellets can effectively solve the problem of agricultural waste treatment, avoid environmental pollution caused by open-air burning or landfill, and reduce dependence on forest resources.

4. Wide application
Sugarcane bagasse pellets can replace traditional energy sources such as coal and fuel oil, and are suitable for home heating, living stoves, industrial boilers, biomass power plants and other scenarios, with high combustion efficiency and stable calorific value.

It is widely used in the fields of power generation and heating, especially for factories and communities that require a stable energy supply, while meeting daily needs such as cooking and bathing at home.

5. Easy to store and transport

Through processes such as crushing, drying, granulation, and cooling, sugarcane bagasse is compressed into high-density pellets, which are easy to store and transport, and have strong combustion stability.
